W e l c o m e !

At the
Lazy "B" Heritage Homestead,
we hope to get back to the basics. We would like to revive
the old time way of living. We hope to help to bring back
livestock that has been endangered by commercialization as well as
continue to provide or find homes for unwanted animals. We will
attempt to be as self sufficient as possible and to share our day to day
activities with all of our animal friends here on the homestead.
We are now in the process of
finalizing on a piece of property
(should have our closing in mid-July
2007), that will permit us to
expand on our adventure.
(Before and after pics)
In the meantime we try to do what we can for unwanted animals and
continue with our educational programs via
TURTLE WORLD.
It is our
intention to raise rare and threatened
livestock breeds, as well
as other animals on the homestead. Currently we are
attempting to raise Chinchillas and
Lilac Rabbits
which are a breed of rabbit that was becoming endangered.
Some of our "prospective"
breeds are listed on the menu to the right.
Take some time
and tour our site as we build it, right
along with the
Lazy "B" Heritage Homestead.
Y'all come back!
